A 5:00 PM team meeting today to introduce the University of Tennessee football team to its new head coach was met with less than full enthusiasm.

It was also met with less than a full team meeting room.

The second floor meeting room in the Neyland Thompson Sports Complex was noticeably absent a number of sophomores, juniors and seniors-to-be during the 55 minute meeting. Several later explained that their actions were intended to reflect on Mike Hamilton, not necessarily Kiffin.

During the meeting, Kiffin spoke about competition and he noted that there were no incumbent starters in any positions.
